Preparation and Usage Starting Skills

Project Steps

After preparing the glass, turn the ashtray over. Using a grid mat, ruler and China pencil, mark intersecting centerlines on the back of the ashtray.
Turn the ashtray right side up. Place the O and U from your over the intersecting lines drawn on the back so they will be in the middle of the ashtray. Add the remaining letters starting in the middle and working outward.
Center the desired border stencil centered above and below the words.
Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the design onto the ashtray.
