Convert old vases from basements and closets into personalized vessels of inspiration. Vases can be used to display found treasures, shells & rocks, seasonal baubles, wrapped sweets, small notes of encouragement, and as a luminary with flameless candles.

Preparation and Usage Starting Skills

Project Steps

After preparing the glass, draw a centerline down the back. See the centerline tutorial if necessary. On the front, place the & in the middle of the vase, along the centerline.
Place the U and G above the &, on opposite sides of the centerline. Do the same with the two s’s below the &. Working from the inside out and curving around the & in the middle, add the remaining letters. See the lettering tutorial if necessary.
Place a period between the ends of the words, as shown. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the design onto the glass.
